It's Dentist Day!

Allie enjoyed getting to spit in the bowl!
and showing us her freshly polished teeth!

But she's trying hard to be brave.

I'm so proud of all our little ones. They did great at the dentist this morning! (and all three were pronounced cavity-free!)

Ashlie is so big that she goes back to the office all on her own now. (Had to sneak in for that picture!) Allie has gotten so big that rather than sit in fear this visit, she jabbered away and asked a million questions. She got a thorough cleaning plus flouride treatment and xrays today! (The xrays were pretty important to us since Allie has a extra tooth ~ she calls it her "special tooth" ~ growing directly behind one of her top front teeth.) Allie cracked me up when she told the tech that the xray film cards were "just like little crackers," but that maybe they would taste better if they would "put a little salt on them next time." & Annie actually opened her mouth for them today! She operated Mr Thirsty and let them "tickle" her front teeth today. I'm confident that by next visit they'll accomplish even more; this was truly a huge improvement over last spring where they never got to see one tooth. (We were pretty anxious for the dentist to at least look at those back teeth and give us an opinion; if you recall, she came to us at 23 months old, carrying a backpack that had been FILLED with candy and sweets!)

Our girls were all just so brave, cooperative, and well-mannered today ~ I was so proud of them all!
