A Little more Christmas

Okay. How many guys does it take to install a DVR? LOL, this cracks me up, with both Rick and Darren just looking and thinkin' real hard about what they should do next! (Rick's Dad appreciated the humor in me needing a camera to record the moment!) Now WHY didn't I take a picture of them posing in front of the tv after they finally had it connected and running?)

We made it to Indiana for a day to celebrate Christmas with Rick's dad and brother (& family). Rick's Dad usually spends Christmas in Florida, so it was really special to be able to see them this year. We know that our family has been given a great gift in having more time with Dick. His chemo has been effective. He has one more treatment to undergo early next week, and then he will have radiation later in January. He's eating well and in good spirits, and we truly consider each additional day a gift from God.

Rick is hoping to be able to accompany his brother and Dad on a road trip next week to go out east and visit Rick's sister. Dick hasn't made it to any of our nephew's basketball games and he really wants to go this year. Please pray for good health and good weather for them to make this trip. It will mean so much for them all to be together again.
