What a perfect Saturday for Silver Dollar City with friends! The Headley family (with Makenna, Mia, and Meisi) and the Dunham family (with Taylor) joined us at SDC yesterday. Mia, Taylor, and Ashlie came home together in July 2003 from Guangchang County SWI in Jiangxi Province. Meisi and Allie came home together in March 2005 from Zhangzhou SWI in Fujian Province. As you can see, the other sisters have just slipped right in to the family/friend dynamics and it's always a special time when these friends can spend time together.

Looks like a fun day! We need to do that with our girls sometimes. All though when we travel with all 4 its hard to do anythign because were stopped every few minutes to "are they sisters.....I mean real sisters"? do you ever get that?
Were enjoying the puppy. We eneed up going to Cuba Mo. to get her. They did gave golden doddles but in the end the retreivers won out. lol........ She has fit in so well. In fact the girls are dressign her up right now. lol.....
Oh my gosh yes, we get the "are they REAL sisters" comment a lot. Almost as much as are they twins? Triplets? LOL. For the real sisters comment, we just say YES. The asker may go on and on about how unusual that is, etc., and we just go on our way. I just got fed up with people making our girls' relationship as sisters seem to be less than it really is. They ARE sisters, and they are REAL sisters. (ok, off my soap box now!!)
Looks like an "almost" perfect day. Perfect would have been the Humphreys enjoying the day with you!! ;)
I've been wondering how our friends were all doing. Your photos pretty much answer that question...
Can't wait to see photos of your girls loving on their new puppy!!
Kim
Kim, you just give us the word if you all have ANY opportunity to hear our way. You've got a free place to stay, you know!
Of course then your girls WILL know that Ashlie, Allie and Annie have a new puppy!!
We miss you guys, and we're going to miss our annual July get-together this year.
Looks like an incredible lot of fun. I know these times are important to the girls even if they don't know why right now.
I agree with Kim - you needed the Humphreys and the Meadors ;)
