I didn't realize just how deprived my girls were. For several years, any time they ate chicken it was boneless, skinless chicken breast, chicken nuggets, chicken strips. They were delighted the first time I gave them a drumstick, and called it "Chicken on the bone!" The name has stuck, and they still love it.
speaking of which, time to go fire up the grill for our chicken on the bone right now!

My kids call it that too! They LOVE it! Lily especially likes the skin. Hmmm...very healthy! LOL!
