Playin' in the Creek!

Flowers in their hair, Flowers everywhere!
Starting off with some very careful steps, . . .

Ashlie is thrilled to be wading in the creek!

Allie's concentrating, watching for a fish to come by. (& soaking her little bottom in the meantime)

Much to my amazement, Allie caught a fish! (What are those tiny little fish, anyway? Minnows, maybe?)
Annie scooped up a little fish too! (& had to touch it)
Told the girls they could throw small rocks only (they were a bit scary throwing the big rocks close to each others' heads!) Glad to see they listened about the small rocks!
Annie worked up an appetite, as usual!

Sweet little toes enjoying that cool water.

We had SUCH a good time this morning! We returned to the walking trail and creek that Adam showed us earlier this week, and this time we made sure that we had snacks, drinks, and shoes that would work in the creek. We brought along a little cup to put our caterpillars in, but didn't find any today. Didn't matter a bit, though, because it made a perfect scoop for fishing. We came home happy and tired!

Arrived here from Chelle's blog which I found on A boy, a girl and a pug. I am not a blogger myself (mine is the "old-fashioned" family scrapbook) but I have enjoyed reading about your family. My youngest daughter has become very interested in adopting from China (in fact she is carrying on her own adoption of a Chinese Bitty Baby that she hopes will arrive in time for her 6th birthday, she has filled out paperwork and everything.) It was thrilling to be able to show her a little more about the process and the heartaches and joys from a real live family. Thank you.

I love all the pictures of the girls! We will have to come meet you sometime and take a trip to the creek. My kiddos(the boys especially) would love to explore.
Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes on our blog!
